Why do connectivity problems occur?
New customers often receive a test environment first, with a test account and server-side test instances. In principle, this makes it possible to access the client software from different IP addresses.
However, in the past, this has often led to misunderstandings about how client/server communication is intended to work. The backup mechanism is then, sometimes deliberately, bypassed.
With a single-client architecture, it is not possible to address primary and backup servers from two different IPs.

The figure above illustrates the 1:1 client-server connectivity of .
does not offer any other connection possibilities at the moment.
