Detail view Target market categories of securities
On the right side of the detail view, you can view and edit the MiFID II target market categories of the securities. The target market categories in detail:
- Investment horizon
- Investment objective
- Risk/yield
- Risk indicator
- Loss capacity
- Knowledge/experience
- Client category
- Distribution channel
- Special requirements
For each of these target market categories, the available estimates of the manufacturer and distributor target markets for the positive and, if applicable, the negative target market are stored here.
To view or edit the values, expand the individual categories by clicking the respective arrow symbol.
Click the "Expand all" button to quickly expand all categories.
You have the following options on the right side of the detail view:
Element | Description |

"Change log" button | Opens the change log. For more information, see Open target market change log . |
"Expand all"/"Reduce all" button | Expands or reduces all categories. |
Manufacturer target market | In this column, the negative or positive target market for the individual categories is visually indicated on the start of each row: A green marker indicates the positive target market, a red marker indicates the negative target market, if available. Example: In this example, the value of the positive target market for the investment horizon in the manufacturer target market is "short-term (less than 3 years)". No value is set for the negative target market. |
Distributor target market | In this column, you specify the values for the individual categories of the distributor target market. To do this, select the required row. Here, too, the green colour indicates the positive target market and the red colour indicates the negative one. Each category must be specified. Multiple selection is possible for the following categories:
Example: In this example, the value of the positive target market for the investment horizon in the distributor target market is "medium-term (3 - 5 years)". No value is set for the negative target market. |
